Ivy Odom

Ivy is the Senior Lifestyle Editor at Southern Living. She has been producing and hosting videos for social, digital, and television programs for over five years. Ivy has had multiple appearances on the TODAY show and Good Morning America, as well as other broadcast outlets like a variety of television and radio shows. She hosted The Southern Living Show, an Emmy-nominated, nationally syndicated lifestyle program, for over two years. On top of video work, Ivy has given numerous cooking and lifestyle demos at events across the South.

Ivy loves to travel and eat her way around the world with her family. Born and raised in Moultrie, Georgia, she is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia (UGA), where she earned degrees in Consumer Journalism and Spanish. She graduated first in her class from the culinary arts program at L’Academie de Cuisine in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and was named as one of UGA’s 40 Under 40 in 2023. Ivy now lives in Birmingham with her husband, Luis, and their dog, Basil.

Ivey Childers is both a spirited Entrepreneur and esteemed Recipe Developer. Creator of the viral IveyCake, a Nashville-based bakery founded in 2007, Ivey quickly gained impressive media attention and rallying support from the biggest names in Music with over 40 made-from-scratch cake flavor combinations. Ivey has made multiple appearances on The Food Network, and has been featured in several global publications including People Magazine due to her impressive celebrity cake designs.

Ivey’s journey from cupcakes to cocktails was a natural progression. Bringing her recipe development skills home after long days at the bakery, Ivey created tequila-based cocktails to unwind and entertain. After 15 years of searching for the “perfect sipper and mixer”, Ivey took the journey Southbound to Jalisco, Mexico, where she worked extensively with a Master Distiller to find that unique, premium tequila to mix, sip, and savor. Thus, Southbound was born, beginning a new chapter in the Entrepreneur’s career. Katie Jacobs is a fourth-generation Nashville native author, stylist, and photographer. She is the art director and creator of StylingMyEveryday.com, a food and lifestyle blog with a focus on food, entertaining, and DIY. She released her first book, So Much to Celebrate, in 2018 and her second, The Chocolate Chip Cookie Book, recently in October of 2023. She’s been featured on the cover of Southern Living as well as on the pages of Martha Stewart Living, Country Living, O The Oprah Magazine, and Southern Living Weddings. She is a content contributor for Reese Witherspoon’s lifestyle brand Draper James, Crate&Barrel, and Le Grand Courtâge, amongst others. Laura Hodges

Laura Hodges is an interior designer with a boutique firm in the Baltimore/Washington DC area. With a focus on creating beautiful spaces that reflect her clients' taste, Laura's signature aesthetic is narrative, layered, classically tailored and modern, featuring unique vintage finds and curated art. Laura is also a brand ambassador for the Sustainable Furnishings Council, working to increase awareness for sustainable design.
